TAKAPUNA RESIDENTS LEFT BUGGERED AS AUCKLAND COUNCIL'S SITE REJECTS ALL PASSWORDS!
The mayhem at Auckland Council's online portal has locals feeling like they've been served a cold burger at a packed KFC.
One disgruntled motorist, Cindy from the local café, told us, "If they can’t handle a simple password, what chance do they have with our ratepayer dollars? I mean, I just want to check my rates, not solve the bloody Rubik's Cube!" While she was fuming over her flat white, we couldn’t help but wonder if this is just the latest example of what living on the North Shore feels like—waiting in line for a ferry that’s perpetually late, all while stewing in suffocating humidity.
The Council, tight-lipped as always, has provided about as much clarity as a murky Waitemata Harbour. Rumours abound that their IT consultants are bickering more than the locals at a BBQ about house prices. Meanwhile, ratepayers are left frantically using every password combination under the sun—think picking a winning lotto ticket but ending up stung by a wasp instead.
As Auckland becomes increasingly unlivable, one question remains: Can anyone really trust a council that can’t handle a simple login? Maybe instead of fixing roads, they should fix their bloody website! But then again, that might just be a bridge too far! Well, at least we still have our precious road cones to keep us company along the high street, right? No one can take those away from us... yet.

Honestly, how hard can it be to manage a website? If my cat can log into her food dispenser, the Council should be able to handle a password or two!

As if the Council already doesn't do enough to baffle us! My neighbour still can't find out where his rates go. Maybe they should hire a 10-year-old to get it sorted?

It's like the Council's motto is 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it'—but how can you not fix a system that's obviously broken? Just admit you need IT help, for goodness' sake!

Well, maybe if we send them a nicely wrapped chocolate teapot, they'll finally get the hint about their website! They clearly need every bit of motivation they can get.
