STOKE DAD FILMING UNDER-11 FOOTY FOR "THE TRIBUNAL" — TRIBUNAL DOES NOT EXIST

He has 47 hours of footage. He has been told 31 times there is no tribunal.

A Stoke man has been filming under-11 football at Greenmeadows Park every Saturday since April, on a gimbal he calls "the rig", for what he describes in emails as "the tribunal".

Grant Voskuilen, 44, of Marsden Road, has lodged 31 complaints with Nelson Suburbs Football Club about refereeing in matches involving his son's team, the Stoke Stingrays. The club has confirmed no tribunal exists at any level of New Zealand Football. It has told him this 31 times.

"He sent me a 12-minute video of a throw-in," said club secretary Aroha Bellingham. "Slow-mo. With fucking annotations. I'm a volunteer. I sell real estate."

Voskuilen, approached on the sideline during Saturday's match against Tahunanui, refused to lower the gimbal. "This is going on the record, mate," he said, while it was going on the record. "Ref's bought. Watch the left foot at 14:22." The referee is 16 and works at the Z on Main Road.

The club has asked Voskuilen four times to "have a quiet weekend". Each time he replied with a Dropbox link. My mate at the station says it doesn't meet the threshold for a Police Safety Order, though he described it as "close".

The Stingrays lost 4-1. Voskuilen is preparing a supplementary brief.
